Milica Ilić | pianist and repetiteur
Milica is an active performer, playing mostly in ensembles with singers, but also in other types of chamber ensembles. The music of the 20th and 21st century is her first line of interest, but she is continously exploring and performing music from all historical periods. As a performer she tries to test the borders of "classical concert", combining music with other arts - visual, treatre, literature - which makes her performances fresh, interesting and communicating with the audiences of the contemporary world.
She has a vast experience as a vocal coach, working on all levels of music education with singers (from primary music school to PhD studies). Her repertoire is broad, ranging from opera to artistic song, from baroque to contemporary music. In her work as a coach she insists on equal importance of all artistic components - music, text, dramaturgy, language, context etc., teaching young professionals that an exquisite performance is only possible after a thorough study and deep understanding of the music and text.

Milica Ilić | teacher
Apart from her main profession as a vocal coach, Milica is also teaching in other fields. She developed a course Pianist in opera (which she leads on the Faculty of Music in Belgrade), that offers a thorough preparation and valuable insights to the specific field of working in the opera and the career of an opera repetiteur.
As the guest lecturer at the Royal Conservatoire the Hague and within the course Sound Worlds (which she does with R. Pravda), Milica teaches art students the basic workings of music and sound with a strong accent in demystifying the field of so called "classical music".
