Statement

Since December 2024 untill today all performances and works were made under conditions of systemic repression and overt media, legal, financial and psychological pressures exerted by the current Serbian state regime on the entire academic community, students, teachers, and pupils alike. It is dedicated to them, who are fighting bravely for a better social world.

26.06.2025 | Sa druge strane: eight contemporary female Serbian composers

At a special evening at the Main Hall of the Faculty of Music in Belgrado, an enhanced solo perfromance of Milica will take place. Sa druge strane is a programme of pieces for solo piano by eight contemporary female Serbian composers: Ivana Stefanović, Tatjana Milošević, Aleksandra Vrebalov, Ana Sokolović, Nataša Bogojević, Irena Popović, Jovana Backović and Milica Ilić. The compositions will be accompanied by videos, created by Takonis Vilem Stolk specifically on the music. Entrance is free.


07.05.2025 | Così fan tutte at the National Theatre in Belgrade

Milica will play at several performances of Mozart's Così fan tutte, by the "Borislav Popović" Opera Studio, at the National Theatre in Belgrade.

29.12.2024 | "Winterreise" at the National Theatre in Belgrade

A specially staged performance of Franz Schubert's "Winterreise" ("Zimsko putovanje") will take place on 29 December 2024 in the Raša Plaović Hall of the National Theatre in Belgrade. With soprano Nataša Jovović and Milica on piano.


29-30.11.2024 | Repetiteur at Nikola Cvejić Competition

On 29 and 30 November 2024, Milica is the official repetiteur at the International Singing Competition Nikola Cvejić in Ruma, Serbia.


26.11.2024 | Concert at Guarnerius

At Guarnerius, Belgrade, T. Kiš (baritone) and Milica perform works by F. Schubert, W.A. Mozart, Z. Kodaly, S. Binički, M. Prebanda and J. Gotovac on 26 November 2024.


25.11.2024 | Evening of operatic arias

Milica plays an evening of operatic arias with S. Kosanić (soprano) and A. Minjević (soprano) at the Museum of the National Theatre in Belgrade on 25 November 2024.


12.10.2024 | You Should Not Ask a Person in Tallinn

You Should Not Ask a Person for two accordions, contrabass, violin and video will will have an English language premiere at the AccordionF[est] in Tallinn, Estonia, on 12 October. 19.09.2024 | Heat

Vrućina (Heat), Milica's new piece for piccolo and piano will be played by Snježana Pavićević (piccolo) and Vladimir Vanja Šćepanović (piano) at the Belgrade Piccolo Weekend on 19 September 2024. More info here.


15.06.2024 | An evening of operatic arias

S. Kosanić (soprano), S. Šarić (soprano) and S. Karanac (tenor) perform with Milica on an evening of operatic arias at the Museum of the National Theatre in Belgrade on 15 June 2024. The programme consists of works by G. Verdi, Ch. Gounoud, G. Bizet, G. Donizetti and G. Puccini.


13.06.2024 | Liederabend

Together with Ljudmila Gross-Popović (soprano), Milica performs works by S. Prokofjev, N. Tscherepnin and J. Turina on a Liederabend at the Ruski Dom in Belgrade, on 13 June 2024.


06.2024 | Cavaleria Rusticana

In June 2024, Milica is repetiteur for Cavaleria Rusticana by P. Mascagni, performed at the National Theatre in Belgrade by students of the Opera Studio Borislav Popović.


25.05.2024 | Viva Verdi

Viva Verdi: works by Verdi are performed by S. Kosanić (soprano), S. Šarić (soprano), S. Karanac (tenor) and D. Matić, accompanied by Milica, at the Republic Square in Belgrade as part of the Belgrade Family Days.


19.05.2024 | You Should Not Ask a Person

On 19 May 2024, Milica's new piece Nikog nemoj da pitaš (You Should Not Ask a Person) for two accordions, contrabass, violin and video will premiere at the Eufonija Festival in Novi Sad, Serbia. Performed by Luka Lopičić and Momir Novaković (accordions), Aleksandra Krčmar (violin) and Fedor Ruškuc (double bass). Info here. Listen and watch here.
